About Us

Welcome to Siberianpuffs Cattery, where our love for Siberian cats began many years ago. Our journey started with Sasha, our first Siberian cat from Hungary with Russian descent. We fell in love with his beauty and personality, which led us to years of studying and understanding Siberian cats through online classes and courses. This passion eventually inspired us to start our family-operated cattery.

Our cattery stands out because our cats live as cherished family members. They are never confined to cages and enjoy the freedom of our home. They are treated like royalty, enjoying a beautiful garden with a catio for sunbathing.

Health / About Our Cats

At Siberianpuffs Cattery, we are committed to the health and happiness of our cats. We ensure all our cats are FIV, FeLV, and PKD negative and perform sonograms for HCM on our adults. We are a TICA-registered cattery, and all our cats undergo comprehensive DNA testing to rule out genetic issues. Regular vet checkups are a part of our routine to maintain their health.

Siberian cats are considered hypoallergenic, meaning they produce low levels of the Fel-d1 protein, the main cause of allergic reactions in humans. Many people with cat allergies have little to no reaction to Siberians, making them an excellent choice for allergy sufferers.

We take pride in raising well-socialized, healthy kittens who are ready to join their forever homes. Kittens go home at four months old, fully vaccinated, dewormed. We do not sell breeding rights and donate 10% of every adoption to No-Kill shelters. For inquiries, email us at siberianpuffs@gmail.com. While we primarily use Facebook for updates due to the prevalence of scammers on other platforms, we ensure our social media presence is genuine and trustworthy.

We do not perform early spay or neuter on our kittens. After moving to Ohio, we began working with a reproductive veterinarian who does not recommend spaying or neutering before 6 months of age. Their recommendation is based on allowing kittens to benefit from the hormones needed for healthy growth and development.

I understand that many breeders have different opinions, and I completely respect that. However, I have chosen to follow the guidance of my veterinarian because the long-term health and well-being of my kittens is my highest priority.

I am also extremely careful about selecting the families who adopt my kittens. I take the time to get to know each family, and I trust that they will honor our agreement and will never breed one of my kittens.
